Carmel Feast

Every year 16 July is celebrated as Carmel feast. There were many competitions organized for the same. They were Wealth Out Of Waste and a Western Dance competition. Our class won the 2nd prize in wealth out of waste. There was also a program which reminded us the sweet memories that we had with Carmel.

Health Threat

Health is Wealth,was proved by the students of class 6. We all inacted some scenes to show how we damage ourselves,like by smoking etc.Our class group also won the second prize...

Visit To The Post Office

We were extremely surprised when were told that we had to visit the post office. Since the Indian Post was celebrating a digital week,we students were invited to visit the post office and see how all the work goes on over there.We thank Sr.Swati for allowing us to visit the post office.

Thanksgiving Card Making 

A card making competition was organized on the topic thanks giving. We had to make a card to thank the person who help us a lot.We were thankful to everyone who organized it.

Farewell of Sister Sushmita

Farewells never mean good bye they mean we'll surely meet again. We all were very sad when we were told that our dear teacher Sr. Sushmita was about to leave.We hope that we would meet again. Now you won't be among us but we assure you that we will always keep your teachings with us.We will miss you sister.

Science Class Experiments

To understand the topic of different nutrients we conducted some experiments in our class to know about carbohydrates, proteins and fats.We learnt a lot from these experiments.

MOTHERS DAY

Every year 8th May is celebrated as mothers day.A card making competition was organized by the CESA members Avantika won the prize from our class. It was great fun making all the cards for our all rounder mothers.

 Humanity

                                                                                                                                                                     A poster making competition was organized by the heritage club on the topic Save Humanity. We all had fun making those wonderful posters. We got to know so many things about humanity through the various assemblies. We thank all the members of the heritage club who organized it.

Workers Day

Every year 1st May is celebrated as Workers Day.this year our school conducted a remarkable programme for all the people who help us.We had fun filled games for all the workers.They also got many surprises and gifts from Sister Swati.

Eco and Science club

The eco and science club organised an assembly on earth day.

We also had a talk on nano technology by Dr. Chakravarty. Although it was a very new topic for us as we had never heard of the term before but Dr. Chakravarty explained  us what Nano technology was with such ease that we are well versed with it now.

Migratory Birds

A poster making competition was held on the Migratory Birds. The idea behind the competition was to create awareness about migratory birds as to why some birds migrate from one place to another. 

YUVSATTA-NGO

This is an organization that works to help the girls in need.We donate 1 rupeeevery day which means 30 rupees a month. this organization has taught us the power of 1 rupee.

SWEARING  IN CEREMONY

The swearing in ceremony of the Health and Wellness club  took place on 8th May.The elected members from our class were President-Sanjana ,Vice president-Sonali ,Secretary-Shrivalli ,Executive-Karuvi ,Reporter-Aarushi.

Creative Writing

In our class an activity was organized. We were supposed to write a paragraph in the best handwriting we could.Top three entries were selected per section. We gave a heartful thanks to all the teachers who worked hard to organize it.

Salad Flag Making

On 30th April we had a competition. We were supposed to make a flag using healthy foods like a flag of India using cucumber,radish and papaya.We made the best that we could.We thank the staff for arranging it.The second and third prizes were backed by our class.

                  A TALK WITH DR MANISHA 

On 24th of April DR MANISHA  came to our school and gave us a talk about HOW TO KEEP OUR FOOD CLEAN .She guided us about how to preserve food and what kind of diet we should have .
We thank Sister Swati for arranging this healthy talk.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

No one is a born winner every one becomes a winner through their hard work,dedication and concentration.The prize distribution ceremony was organized by class 6th .The scholarship girls were awarded and the poem recitation results were announced.

APRIL

ORIENTION

At the starting of our new session ,April 2015 an orientation for our parents was organized by the school .Parents were allowed to meet the teachers and talk to them They were told  the things we need to bring to school each and everyday ,as well as the other rules and regulations. It was a great experience for all of  us.
